Year-long HCD Capstone Project focusing on researching, compiling, and curating historical documents related to local urban developments. The project highlights historical events and changes over the years at a landmark in Rochester, NY.
Worked throughout the year with teammates EmmaRose T. and Paige M. on a project that we completed last spring. Our work involved extensive research and curation to transform historical information into an engaging visual storytelling medium, showcasing the colorful history of Rochester, NY.
Presented at the Undergraduate Capstone Conference and the community-wide ImagineRIT event.
My primary role focused on UX design for the storymaps, organizing the information to ensure it was accessible and enjoyable for all ages and backgrounds. This included incorporating interactive features and overall aesthetics to enhance the user experience.
